About Jim

Jim Anderson, former music industry professional, brings more than 25 years of sales, marketing and promotion experience to the world of real estate. A veteran of the live and recorded music scenes in Los Angeles and Seattle, Jim has worked for a variety of record labels and concert venues, including stints as Marketing Director / Universal Amphitheater, Hollywood, and most recently, 17 years with Warner Bros. Records, Seattle as Promotion and Marketing Manager.

The ability to negotiate the complicated deal, manage expectations and accommodate a 24/7 schedule are critical disciplines to a successful outcome in music and real estate. The music business, like real estate, demands long range planning and precise marketing combined with the ability to be nimble and flexible in the moment and adjust to the conditions of the “now.” The foundation of the music business is relationships: Listening, building trust, following through – these are some of the finely honed skills that Jim brings to the real estate business.

Community

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Jim and his wife have raised two children K-12 on Bainbridge Island, are active in the arts community and are proud supporters of Bainbridge Island Schools, Helpline House, Bainbridge Performing Arts, Ovation! Musical Theatre, Island Theatre, Bainbridge Corale, and New Horizons/Seattle. Jim enjoys photography, drawing and painting and performs regularly in local theater productions.
