Kitsap Mall is home to a selection of eateries, regioinal stores and national retailers such as Sears, JC Penny, Kohl's and Barnes & Noble. The greater Silverdale area is composed of apartments, condominiums, and suburban housing developments.
To the northeast is RidgeTop, a large development of single family homes and condominiums. Many of these homes enjoy Olympic Mountain views. Properties here are within easy reach of SubBase Bangor and the Navy Hospital. Just east of Silverdale you'll find Tracyton, a small community with views across Dyes Inslet to the Olympic Mountains and glorious sunsets. Further east is Brownsville, a small marina community with a store and restaurant.
